As a Muslim from Fethiye, we see British people on the road, in the market, everywhere.  As a Brit, you see many Muslims, but as far as I know, the British are afraid to ask questions about religion. A big no no! This is quite normal for people who are afraid to ask for names even when they meet for the first time. I can’t blame you. We Turks ask so many questions, you Brits don’t ask (at least the ones I know do not like to ask many questions). We all want to have a private space and want our privacy to be honoured. So, don’t be too personal in your questions. At the same time, we all have things we are curious about.

Many questions about Muslims go unanswered. They are actually within you maybe for ages, but you cannot ask them because we live in an age of political correctness.
